Learning & Development Leader

Build the Future of Learning at Byrider

Are you passionate about creating engaging learning experiences that drive business results? Do you enjoy building training programs, designing digital learning content, and leveraging technology to help people succeed?

Byrider is seeking an innovative Learning & Development Leader to lead the transformation of our training ecosystem into Byrider Digital University (BDU)-a modern learning platform that supports onboarding, professional development, certification programs, compliance training, and operational excellence across our nationwide franchise network.

This is an exciting opportunity to build something meaningful from the ground up. You'll partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to create impactful learning experiences that help franchisees and employees grow while shaping the future of learning at Byrider.

What You'll Do

As our Learning & Development Leader, you'll combine instructional design, learning technology, and project leadership to create a best-in-class learning experience.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Lead the ongoing development and administration of Byrider Digital University (Docebo LMS).
  • Design and maintain role-based learning paths, onboarding programs, certifications, and compliance training.
  • Modernize existing training content into engaging digital learning experiences.
  • Partner with business leaders and subject matter experts to identify training needs and develop effective learning solutions.
  • Create interactive e-learning modules, videos, assessments, job aids, and other multimedia learning content.
  • Manage curriculum governance, content lifecycle, and learning standards across the organization.
  • Monitor learner engagement, completion rates, and training effectiveness through reporting and analytics.
  • Recommend innovative learning technologies and continuous improvements that enhance the learner experience.
  • Support franchisees and internal teams by delivering learning solutions that improve operational performance.

What We're Looking For

We're looking for someone who is equal parts instructional designer, learning strategist, project manager, and technology enthusiast.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, Education, Organizational Development, Communications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3-5+ years of experience in Learning & Development, Instructional Design, LMS Administration, Corporate Training, or Curriculum Development.
  • Experience administering or supporting a Learning Management System (LMS).
  • Experience designing and managing learning curriculum.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.
  • Passion for continuous improvement and creating engaging learning experiences.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Docebo or another enterprise Learning Management System.
  • Experience developing role-based learning paths and certification programs.
  • Experience supporting franchise, retail, automotive, financial services, or other multi-location organizations.
  • Experience with instructional design tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise, Camtasia, Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software.
  • Experience producing and editing training videos and multimedia learning content.

Why Join Byrider?

At Byrider, learning isn't just about training-it's about empowering people to perform at their best. In this role, you'll have the opportunity to build and evolve a modern digital learning ecosystem that directly impacts the success of our franchisees, dealership teams, and corporate associates.

You'll help shape how our organization learns, develops, and grows for years to come.

What We Offer

  • Competitive salary
  • Annual incentive opportunity
  • Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision Insurance
  • Company-paid Life Insurance, STD and AD&D
  • 401(k) with Company Match
  • Paid Time Off and Company Holidays
  • Hybrid work environment
  • Professional development opportunities
  • A collaborative, innovative culture where your ideas matter

Why This Role Is Different

This isn't a traditional training coordinator position.

We're looking for someone who enjoys building learning programs from the ground up, leveraging technology to create engaging digital experiences, and partnering with leaders across the business to solve real organizational challenges. You'll have the opportunity to influence learning strategy, modernize our training platform, and create programs that improve performance across an entire franchise network.

If you're excited about designing impactful learning experiences and helping others succeed through innovative training solutions, we'd love to hear from you.
