POSITION SUMMARY:
This role is responsible for consulting with Penske Collision for the implementation and facilitation of projects and programs that address Collision's unique talent development needs. In this role, you will have an opportunity to work with a passionate, progressive, and high-impact team. You will form strong internal partnerships with all levels of leaders as you look to understand their business and challenges and develop programs that make a difference for our associates.
Qualified candidates for this role will have at least 3 years of prior adult learning and development experience, as well as facilitation and instructional design experience. This position is based in our global offices in Berks County, PA, which is 75 miles northwest of Philadelphia, PA.
MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
In partnership with the Manager, Leadership Development, and appropriate stakeholders:
Facilitation
o Facilitate interactive instructor led training sessions to implement learning and development solutions for Collision (in-person and virtually).
Program Delivery
o Supports program manager in delivering programs.
o Operate and maintain learning technologies and systems used in the delivery of instructional and/or interactive programs or courses.
o Track completion data and key learning metrics; in addition to leveraging other systems and technologies needed for reporting purposes.
o Assist in the scheduling and administration of sessions.
Instructional Design
o Create and maintain training deliverables such as participant guides, facilitator guides, training slide decks, job-aids, and eLearning modules.
Project Work
o Design and implement short-term solutions with subject matter experts to develop skills and promote role clarity for Penske Collision.
o Collaborate with the Collision learning and development team on strategic initiatives and projects.
o Other projects and tasks as directed by manager.
Qualifications
QUALIFICATIONS:
o Bachelor's Degree preferred. If no degree, equivalent work experience is required
o 3+ years of related work experience
o 3+ years of adult learning and development experience preferred
o 1 year of virtual and in-person facilitation and presentation skills required
o 1 year of Instructional Design experience required
o Strong project and program management skills preferred
o Knowledgeable in Articulate 360, including Storyline 360 and Rise 360
o Demonstrates past proficiency of: Facilitation skills (Virtual and in-person), instructional design, performance consulting skills, and project management
o Strong executive presence, advanced verbal and written communication skills, and positive influencing skills are necessary for successful performance in this role
o Highly creative and innovative, self-driven with relentless attention to detail and hunger to learn
o Ability to partner with operational groups and other talent development team members to ensure successful design and implementation of programs
o Technical skills and systems knowledge of relevant learning tools (Zoom, Excel, Teams, Adobe, Articulate, LMS, etc.)
o Some overnight travel up to 20-25% may be required. Occasional day travel near corporate office location
o Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
o Role will be based in Reading, PA
o Willingness to work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening are required.
