What You'll Do as a Lead Direct Support Professional (LDSP)
As a Lead DSP, you will provide direct support while taking on a leadership role within the home, mentoring staff and supporting day-to-day operations to ensure high-quality, person-centered care.
Daily Responsibilities
  • Lead by example, coaching and supporting Direct Support Professional
  • Assist with daily living skills, personal care, and community engagement
  • Ensure person-centered plans, behavior plans, and documentation are followed accurately
  • Support day-to-day operations of the home in partnership with leadership
  • Administer medications and maintain proper documentation
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized home environment
  • Transport individuals to appointments and advocate for their needs
  • Support individuals with budgeting, household routines, and independence goals
  • Complete required documentation including progress notes, incident reports, and daily logs
  • Communicate effectively with team members and provide clear shift hand-offs

Qualifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
