The ministry began with the church located in Costa Mesa, CA and has flourished and expanded into a multifaceted ministry, which includes Christian Schools, Christian Radio Stations, Christian radio programs, Christian book distribution, and Christian bookstores.

Job Summary Job Summary Position Purpose and Summary Calvary Chapel School is looking for someone to help as a part time teacher with our LEAP program. They will work with the lead the LEAP teacher in the establishment of guidelines and standards.

The ideal candidate will be a minister of the Gospel in this position and will have a strong relationship with Jesus Christ. Collaborate effectively with school-based personnel in adapting curriculum offerings to meet individual educational needs that guide and challenge students.

Implement lessons in language arts, mathematics, social studies, and Bible utilizing current curriculum, adopted resources, and/or appropriate teaching strategies. Provide individual and small group instruction, adapting curriculum to meet the needs of all students; and instruct students in citizenship, basic communication skills and study skills. Partner to develop weekly lesson plans to best utilize the available time for instructional sessions.

The employee frequently is required to stand for extended periods of time; walk; bend; lift; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Specific hearing abilities required include soft and loud sounds.
