Our Indianapolis facility combines precision machining and assembly capabilities to deliver high-quality medical device components and finished products.

About the role: The primary purpose of this position is to drive Operational Excellence initiatives by identifying, analyzing, and implementing process improvements that enhance manufacturing performance and business results. This role focuses on optimizing processes, eliminating waste, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement to positively impact Quality, Delivery, Cost, Safety, and Employee Engagement. We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a positive attitude, strong problem-solving skills, and a passion for continuous improvement who is eager to grow professionally while delivering measurable operational results.

Work Model: Monday-Friday 7:00AM-4:30PM

 

What you'll do:

  • Adheres to Viant Core Beliefs and all safety and quality requirements including but not limited to: Quality Management Systems (QMS), Environmental Management Systems (EMS), U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) regulations, company policies and operating procedures, and other regulatory requirements.
  • Creates and implements lean processes in a cellular environment
  • Defines, produces and implements documents including standard work and process work instructions.
  • Analyze current workflows and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Lead and support Lean, Six Sigma, and Kaizen initiatives.
  • Map processes and document standard work procedures.
  • Eliminate non-value-added activities and bottlenecks
  • Collect and analyze production, quality, safety, and performance data.
  • Develop KPIs, dashboards, and performance metrics.
  • Identify trends and root causes of operational issues.
  • Present findings and recommendations to leadership
  • Facilitate continuous improvement projects across departments.
  • Support cost-reduction and productivity-improvement efforts.
  • Monitor project performance and sustainability of improvements.
  • May help investigating process failures and inefficiencies.
  • Train employees on Lean, Six Sigma, and operational excellence tools.
  • Facilitate workshops and improvement events.
  • Support change management efforts during process transformations.
  • Ensure adoption of new processes and standards.
  • Manage multiple improvement projects simultaneously.
  • Develop project plans, timelines, and resource requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Track project savings, benefits, and ROI.
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Requirements

 

Education/Certification

  • Engineering or bachelor’s degree and/or lean manufacturing/6Sigma certified.

Experience

  • 1-3+ years of applicable operational excellence experience.

Physical Requirements
