The Continuous Improvement Manager will champion plant-wide initiatives that eliminate waste, streamline operations, and elevate overall performance. This role partners closely with the Warehouse Manager and cross-functional teams to identify, prioritize, and lead high-impact Lean projects from selection through execution. By leveraging warehouse tools and continuous improvement methodologies, the manager will drive measurable gains in efficiency and process excellence. Managing multiple projects simultaneously, this role serves as a hands-on change agent and trusted resource energizing teams and delivering results without direct reports.
What You Will Do
  • Drive Strategic Continuous Improvement:
    • Partner with Plant Leadership to align site initiatives with Global Supply Chain and Corporate CI objectives.
    • Lead high-impact Lean and Six Sigma projects that deliver rapid, scalable cost savings and operational gains.
    • Design and implement innovative engineering solutions to solve complex processing and efficiency challenges.
  • Deliver Data-Driven Operational Excellence:
    • Analyze plant performance data and KPIs to identify high-value improvement opportunities.
    • Lead process optimization efforts including time studies, workflow redesign, SOP development, and capital upgrade recommendations to improve visibility, performance, and results.
  • Build a Culture of Continuous Improvement:
    • Act as a change leader to elevate CI maturity and embed a problem-solving culture.
    • Lead root cause analysis, Kaizen events, 5S, Kanban, and other waste-elimination initiatives that improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
    • Coach teams and ensure CI tools, training, and best practices are effectively deployed across all levels.
  • Enable Sustainable Adoption & Standardization:
    • Develop and execute communication and rollout strategies to sustain improvements.
    • Standardize best practices, strengthen adoption of effective standard work, and replicate proven solutions across sites to ensure consistency and long-term impact.

What You Will Bring
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, operations, manufacturing, or related.
  • Experience: 5+ years leading lean transformations. 3+ years using modern operational excellence and continuous improvement methods.
  • Knowledge: Skilled with root cause analysis, 5S, Value Stream Mapping, Kaizen, Kanban, Gemba Walks, and TPM.
  • Skills: Strong project management, organization, analytical, and presentation skills. Ability to work with competing deadlines and changing priorities.
  • Interpersonal: Excellent communication, collaboration, and team building skills.

Compensation: The expected annual base salary range for this role is $90,000 - $115,000. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
