Job Description:ย 

The Lead, Systems Engineer (SE) will guide the SE Team through Design, Integration, & Certification activities for a military commercial derivative aircraft interior modification effort.ย 

Essential Functions:

  • Perform systems requirements management, system architecture development, and interface control documentation (ICDs).
  • Guide the SE Team WRT technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, installation, and certification.
  • Lead the equipment source selection processes and manage supplier relationships throughout design, qualification, and production phases.
  • Ability to travel CONUS up to 10%.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering and minimum 9 years prior relevant Systems Engineering experience or a Graduate Degree in Engineering and a minimum of 7 years of prior related Systems Engineering experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in military commercial-derivative aircraft interior modifications WRT design, integration, installation, and certification.
  • Experience in 14 CFR Part 25 certification and understanding of both commercial certification standards and military specifications / requirements.
  • Expert-level experience regarding all phases of the Systems Engineering V model and proven experience WRT the implementation of Systems Engineering principles and processes.
  • Supplier & Equipment Management experience, including the proven ability to lead equipment source selection processes and manage supplier relationships throughout design, qualification, and production phases.
  • Demonstrated experience in program planning, guidance, and Engineering execution within scope, schedule, and budget constraints.
