Position Description
The Account Associate Group plays a dynamic role in supporting PIMCO's Latin America institutional and retail clients. As an Account Analyst, you will gain hands-on exposure to client service, sales strategy, portfolio analysis, and fixed income markets while working closely with dedicated relationship teams in Account Management. You will collaborate across PIMCO to help deliver high-quality client service, support business development initiatives, and contribute to sales efforts across the region.
In this role, you will build a strong foundation in asset management through meaningful responsibilities, mentorship, and exposure to client-facing work. Account Analysts develop skills in market and portfolio analysis, client communication, CRM and pipeline management, and the thoughtful use of data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, meeting preparation, and client insights.
Beyond day-to-day client service, Account Analysts play an important role in supporting the operating infrastructure of client coverage, including reporting, coordination, follow-up, and execution. The position offers a platform for long-term career development at PIMCO, with opportunities to build the skills needed for future client-facing, product specialist, or other roles across the firm.

Responsibilities
In this role, you will contribute to client service, business development, and relationship management efforts across PIMCO's Latin America business. Responsibilities include:
Institutional Account Analysts
  • Analyzing market trends, portfolio positioning, performance, and risk characteristics to develop client and business insights.
  • Creating client reporting and analytical deliverables that support relationship management and ongoing client service.
  • Conducting client, prospect, and industry research to support business development and relationship growth.
  • Leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled tools to improve reporting, workflow efficiency, and client insights.
  • Maintaining CRM records and client activity tracking to support proactive coverage and business planning.
  • Partner across investment, product, and client-facing teams to support client relationships, business development efforts, and the delivery of a high-quality client experience.
Retail Account Analysts
  • Providing product information, market insights, and sales support to financial advisors and intermediary clients.
  • Researching clients, prospects, and market trends to identify opportunities for advisor engagement and business growth.
  • Build knowledge of PIMCO's investment philosophy, products, and market perspectives to support advisor education and client conversations.
  • Developing sales, marketing, and product materials that support business development and client servicing efforts.
  • Utilizing CRM, sales activity data, and AI-enabled tools to support outreach efforts, targeted campaigns, and relationship management.
  • Tracking client engagement and pipeline activity to support business planning and sales initiatives.
  • Partnering with distribution, product, and investment teams to deliver a consistent and high-quality client experience.
Position Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree required
  • A minimum 3.2 overall GPA
  • 0-2 years of professional experience, including internships, with exposure to financial services, client-facing environments, sales, business development, or investment-related work preferred.
  • Fluency in English and Spanish, with strong written and verbal communication skills in both languages.
  • Completion of Series 7 and 63 within the first six (6) months of employment.
  • Knowledge of and interest in the financial markets, fixed income, and portfolio management techniques
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with financial, CRM, and data-management tools.
  • Interest in leveraging data, automation, and AI-enabled technologies to generate insights and improve business outcomes.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to synthesize information and present insights clearly.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, collaborate effectively across teams, and deliver high-quality work in a dynamic environment.
  • Demonstrated interest in client relationship management, sales, business development, or client service, with a desire to build commercial and investment knowledge within asset management.
PIMCO follows a total compensation approach when rewarding employees which includes a base salary and a discretionary bonus. Base salary is the fixed component of compensation that is determined by core job responsibilities, relevant experience, internal level, and market factors. The discretionary bonus is used to award performance and therefore is determined by company, business, team, and individual performance.
Salary Range: $ 90,000.00 - $ 100,000.00
