We contract with hospitals, long-term care, rehab facilities and business and industry accounts to elevate the food service experience. We are looking for unique individuals to represent our culture of service. We offer tuition reimbursement, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for advancement. Vital criteria for matching with this position include:
Seeking Cook/Kitchen Floater to work in a college cafeteria. These are semester based positions, working 8-9 months of the year. The positions will offer roughly 30-35 hours per week, no holidays, no weekends.
Must be available Monday-Thursday, 7:00am-4:30pm and Fridays 7:00am - 10:00pm, as schedules vary.
Requirements
Job Requirements are:
  • Must hold a California Food Handlers card. If expired, must renew.
  • Must have 1 year of previous kitchen experience with food prep, knife skills, etc.

Job duties include:
  • Food prep/cooking
  • Menu options-pastas, pizzas, Mexican food, Chinese food, breakfast grill, lunch grill and grab n' go meals
  • Setting up, take down of stations, cleaning stations, dishes, sweeping of kitchen and mopping of kitchen area
  • Putting deliveries away in designated area
  • Able to assist customers with meal orders at each station
  • Assisting with the cleanliness of the cafeteria, kitchen and eating area.

The qualified candidate should be organized, a self-starter, detail oriented, punctual and have good people skills. They should demonstrate a positive, encouraging and teamwork attitude. They must maintain a professional appearance.
