Job Summary

The Key Account Manager is responsible for working with Wego’s global product management team to develop new accounts for our existing chemical & ingredient product lines into end-use manufacturers in the target geography. This position will focus on Oil Field Services. Key Accounts Managers have an excellent understanding of their product and industry niche and are tasked with developing high-level clients and growing and maintaining strategic relationships within their region.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate and grow a healthy business portfolio within the target geography, using a long-term perspective.
  • Manage the entire sales channel, generate leads, gain approvals, negotiate prices, obtain orders, and maintain the business.
  • Conduct market research, attend trade shows, and stay current with industry trends.
  • Aid in demand forecasting to inform the purchasing patterns of Wego’s various product groups related to your industry category.
  • Anticipate and proactively respond to business needs and the needs of your customers.

Key Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in sales & marketing of chemicals & ingredients
  • High energy, go-getter, entrepreneurial mentality
  • Ability to foster and manage customer relationships with a client-friendly personality
