Job description

Position Summary: The Key Account Manager is responsible for providing high quality service with a focus on corporate initiatives for assigned chain or independent account(s). They will operate as a team to manage, direct, and coordinate all sales plans and programs. They are responsible for creating a partnering relationship of trust, integrity, customer satisfaction and loyalty and ensures customer compliance. They will collaborate with their team to achieve overall growth within the retail channel of business and beyond.

    Hybrid Role, 20% Travel

 

Responsibilities:

  • Execute sales plans and goals designed to increase sales, profit margin and minimize expenses.
  • Identify and manage new sales opportunities and servicing of existing accounts.
  • Investigate, recommend, and educate new product offerings to capture new market trends.
  • Forecast profit, volume growth and other related goals as determined.
  • Establish buying influences, budgets and purchasing criteria for customer accounts.
  • Prepare reports on customer account status.
  • Delivers on corporate goals to deliver synergy and cross selling capabilities to customers.
  • Coordinate and attend trade shows domestic and International 

Qualifications:

  • Associate’s degree in business or related field preferred.
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Proficient in JDE, Power BI 
  • Culinary and food sales - retail experience 
  • Minimum of 2 years of sales experience
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.
  • Aptitude for financial reporting
