SUMMARY:
The Key Account Manager (KAM) is responsible for the strategic oversight, growth, and success of assigned key accounts, including Joint Venture (JV) hospital systems and affiliated outpatient facilities/practices. This role drives revenue growth, strengthens executive-level relationships, and ensures alignment between customer needs and organizational capabilities. The KAM partners cross-functionally to optimize service delivery, enhance customer satisfaction, and achieve financial and operational objectives.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
? Own and drive the overall relationship strategy for JV hospital systems and key accounts
? Develop and execute growth plans to expand referrals, revenue, and market share
? Serve as the primary point of contact for executive stakeholders within healthcare systems
? Collaborate with branch leadership, operations, and clinical teams to ensure seamless service delivery and account alignment
? Lead account reviews, business planning sessions, and performance reporting with stakeholders
? Identify opportunities for process improvement, service expansion, and operational efficiencies
? Monitor and drive key performance indicators (KPIs) across assigned accounts
? Support and influence liaison teams (hospital and ortho) to achieve performance goals
? Partner with supervisors/managers to ensure proper staffing, training, and development of frontline teams
? Address escalated client concerns proactively and ensure timely resolution
? Maintain strong relationships with physicians, administrators, and other healthcare system stakeholders
? Ensure compliance with all company policies, healthcare regulations, and safety standards
? Provide regular reporting and insights to senior leadership on account performance, risks, and growth opportunities
? Act as a strategic advisor to both the customer and internal leadership teams
? Other duties as assigned
If the associate has the appropriate clinical licensure (LPN, RN, or RT), occasionally performing delivery and/or providing instruction/troubleshooting for respiratory equipment, such as non-invasive ventilation, may be required during the normal course of business, as coverage for other DASCO clinicians, and/or coverage after-hours. At 90-days and during the Annual Review, a clinical competency will be completed by a member of the Clinical Management team.
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
1. High school diploma or GED equivalent
2. Minimum of 3-5 years experience in account management, healthcare operations, or relationship management.
PREFERRED EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
? Bachelor's degree in business, healthcare administration, or related field
? Experience managing large healthcare systems or complex accounts
? Demonstrated success in revenue growth and strategic account management
? Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, CRM systems preferred)

POSITION TYPE/EXPECTED HOURS OF WORK:
This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY:
This position manages liaisons of the JV, including hiring, development, performance management and discipline.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
This job operates in a professional office environment and may spend time in a warehouse, clinical or private residence setting. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.

The employee is generally required to sit; frequently stands and bends, may climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. Specific vision abilities required by this job include both close and distance vision, color and peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
