Job description

Overview:
We are seeking a Key Account Associate to join our team in the Key Account Department.

The Key Account Associate is responsible for coordinating orders and shipments, managing customer requests and inquiries, maintaining accurate documentation, supporting compliance and audits, and collaborating with warehouse and cross-functional teams to resolve issues and enhance customer satisfaction.


Responsibilities:

  • Monitor order and shipment status and coordinate with warehouse/shipping teams to ensure on-time delivery.
  • Proactively notify customers and internal teams when delays or stock issues may impact ship dates, and support solution planning.
  • Compile invoices and shipping documents and scan/upload documentation for proper recordkeeping.
  • Serve as the primary contact for customer communication, responding to inquiries via email, phone, or meetings.
  • Manage customer requests for order adjustments, including critical shipment changes such as expedites or postponements.
  • Coordinate with warehouse and cross-functional teams to resolve customer complaints related to shipping, packaging, ASNs, or documentation.
  • Support customer scorecard performance by driving corrective actions and managing disputes with supporting documentation.
  • Attend project hand-off meetings to understand customer background, project history, scope of work, timelines, and customer requirements.
  • Support EDI setup and readiness by coordinating testing and ensuring successful data transmission.
  • Confirm customer shipping requirements, packaging compliance, logistics coordination, and operational readiness with internal teams.
  • Collect and maintain required monthly COP 3 and COP 6 documentation for order fulfillment and delivery processes.
  • Support internal and external IATF audits by preparing records, providing evidence, and assisting during audit reviews.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Minimum of 2+ years experience in account management, sales, and client-facing roles.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong time management skills with a proven track record of meeting deadlines.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple accounts, and meet deadlines.
  • Quick learner, able to grasp new projects or products efficiently.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, with intermediate Excel skills required.
  • Experience operating SAP or ERS systems preferred.
