About the Role: The Junior Support Engineer (IT) will provide technical assistance and support to ensure seamless operation of IT systems critical to manufacturing processes. This role is ideal for a tech-savvy professional eager to troubleshoot, optimize, and maintain IT infrastructure in a fast-paced industrial setting. The Junior Support Engineer will work closely with the IT and production teams to ensure system reliability, data security, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network issues within the manufacturing facility.
  • Assist in maintaining IT systems critical to manufacturing operations, including ERP systems, production software, and data tracking tools.
  • Install, configure, and maintain IT equipment, including desktops, servers, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve technology-related challenges affecting production and operational efficiency.

Requirements
Qualifications

Experience:
    • 1-2 years of IT support experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
    • Familiarity with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) is a plus.
