Junior IT Administrator – Device Deployment


Location: Acworth, GA

Employment Type: Short-Term Contract / Temporary

Duration: Approximately 3–4 Weeks

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM

Work Environment: 100% On-Site

Start Date: Immediate / This Week

Pay Rate: $25.00 hourly


Position Overview

We are seeking a dependable and technically inclined Junior IT Administrator – Device Deployment to support a company-wide computer refresh project at our Acworth, GA location.

This is an excellent opportunity for a recent graduate, entry-level technology professional, or someone with basic hands-on computer experience who is looking to build additional IT experience.


This position does not require extensive professional IT experience. We are primarily looking for someone who is comfortable working with computers, understands the basics of Windows operating systems, can follow documented processes, and has strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.


The Junior IT Administrator will assist with preparing laptops and desktop computers for deployment to employees, including securely wiping existing devices, reimaging systems, installing business applications, and performing basic troubleshooting.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with a company-wide laptop and desktop refresh project.
  • Securely wipe existing laptops and desktop computers according to established procedures.
  • Reimage computers using the company's standard Windows operating system build.
  • Install and configure a provided list of business applications and software.
  • Prepare laptops and desktops for deployment to employees.
  • Verify that devices are properly configured and functioning before deployment.
  • Perform basic Windows operating system troubleshooting.
  • Troubleshoot basic computer hardware and software issues.
  • Follow documented imaging, setup, and deployment procedures.
  • Identify and communicate any issues encountered during the device preparation process.
  • Maintain organization and accuracy while working through multiple devices.
  • Assist with other basic technology-related tasks associated with the device refresh project as needed.


Qualifications

  • Basic knowledge of Windows operating systems.
  • Comfortable working with laptops, desktops, software installations, and basic computer hardware.
  • Ability to follow detailed written instructions and established procedures.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Dependable and able to work independently.
  • Organized and comfortable working through repetitive technical processes.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Ability to learn quickly and ask questions when needed.
  • Must be available to work 100% on-site in Acworth, GA, Monday through Friday for the duration of the assignment.


Experience

Previous professional IT experience is helpful but not required.
