Job description

POSITION OVERVIEW
We are seeking an EBS Junior Technical Analyst with foundational experience in Oracle E-Business Suite Procurement to support a federal DoD systems implementation program. This role bridges functional and technical work - supporting module configuration, technical troubleshooting, RICE component development, and end-user support across Oracle Procurement and related modules.
This is a primarily remote role supporting a Lackland, TX program with travel projected to be 2 days per quarter.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Requirements Support: Assist in gathering and documenting technical and functional requirements for Oracle EBS Procurement module implementations and enhancements.
  • Technical Configuration: Support configuration of Oracle EBS Procurement, Purchasing, and iSupplier modules under the direction of senior analysts and architects.
  • RICE Development Support: Assist in the development, testing, and documentation of RICE components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions) related to Procurement workflows.
  • Testing: Develop and execute test scripts for unit testing, system integration testing (SIT), and user acceptance testing (UAT) for Procurement modules.
  • Functional Support: Provide first-line support to end-users of Oracle Procurement; log, triage, and escalate issues to senior team members as needed.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with functional BAs, technical developers, and business stakeholders to ensure delivery of integrated Procurement solutions.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate technical and functional documentation, including configuration workbooks, test results, and support logs.
  • Process Improvement: Identify technical inefficiencies in Procurement workflows and recommend improvements under guidance of senior team members.

REQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience working with Oracle E-Business Suite, with exposure to Procurement, Purchasing, or related supply chain modules.
  • Working knowledge of Oracle EBS Procurement module configuration, workflows, and approval hierarchies.
  • Familiarity with Oracle EBS R12 technical architecture, including RICE components and key integration points.
  • Experience supporting or executing test plans, including SIT and UAT in Oracle EBS environments.
  • Basic understanding of federal procurement processes and acquisition regulations (FAR/DFARS) preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication skills with ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams.
  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business, or a related field. Additional years of experience in lieu of degree will be considered.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a Tier 1 (T1) background investigation and Common Access Card (CAC).

Experience in one or more of the following areas is a plus:
  • Oracle CLM (Contracting Lifecycle Management) module exposure.
  • Oracle iSupplier portal configuration and supplier onboarding experience.
  • Oracle APEX or Oracle Cloud development fundamentals.
  • Experience with data conversion or migration scripts for Procurement master data.

DESIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
  • Oracle EBS R12 technical certification or coursework preferred.
  • Familiarity with PL/SQL, Oracle Workflow, or Oracle Reports as they relate to Procurement.
