Job description

  • Provide strategy for planning and execution of development and production programs
  • Control program costs and manage adherence to technical and schedule performance plans
  • Manage program risks and opportunities
  • Interface directly with customers as required
  • Manage one or more projects and programs as a group to achieve strategic goals and objectives
  • Account for cumulative project and individual performance across time, quality, cost, and/or as-bid Gross Margin
  • Apply technical and professional knowledge to support decision-making
  • Make independent judgments based on practice and significant previous experience
  • Serve as a referral point or senior team member for escalating complex problems
  • Act independently with minimal guidance
  • Act as a project manager or formal mentor for junior staff
