As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated and experienced CAD Professional to join our Engineering team. We currently have immediate opportunities available in our Orlando (Winter Park) and Middleton/The Villages office locations!

Job Description
As a CAD Professional with a focus on land development, you will play a key role in supporting our engineering teams by producing high-quality technical drawings, plans, and project deliverables for a variety of civil engineering projects. This position is ideal for an experienced professional who can work independently, apply advanced technical expertise, and serve as a mentor to junior team members. You will contribute to projects involving land development, utilities, transportation, and infrastructure throughout Florida.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare complex permitting and construction plans, details, and maps for civil engineering projects.
  • Apply advanced proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D and drafting principles to develop accurate and high-quality deliverables.
  • Perform quality control (QC) reviews of drawings and project deliverables to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and industry standards.
  • Collaborate closely with engineers, project managers, and other team members to support project goals and deadlines.
  • Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior CAD technicians to support their professional development.
  • Work independently with minimal oversight while exercising sound judgment and initiative.
  • Assist in identifying solutions to technical challenges and contribute to continuous process improvement.
  • Serve as a technical resource and leader within the CAD team.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 3 years of progressive civil engineering production experience preferred.
  • Strong proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D.
