Torch Technologies is seeking an IT Project Coordinator to join the 36 Electronic Warfare Squadron, supporting the Information Technology Department (SWT Flight).

This role provides centralized project scheduling/coordination to support a team tasked with fulfilling Squadron, Group, and Wing-level requirements. Work will include managing, defining, and scheduling IT requirements for specialized squadron & lab testing environments High-Performance Computing (HPC) equipment. This position supports the 36 Electronic Warfare Squadron SWT Flight.

As an IT Project Coordinator, your duties will include the following, but are not limited to:

  • Ensure all infrastructure and equipment requirements directly support the unit's specialized mission set for mission data development and deployment for the Air Force's premier fighter platforms.

  • Coordinate infrastructure and network upgrades across multiple squadron facilities (5+ buildings) and the EMSO Complex.

  • Define technical requirements including building/infrastructure designs, network infrastructure, server rack power loads, and end-user footprints. Track milestones, coordinate logistics, and manage project lifecycles.

  • Draft and review Technical Specifications and Compatibility (TS&C) packages. Conduct market research and quote solicitations for IT hardware, software, and services. Ensure strict compliance with federal and defense acquisition frameworks: 2GIT, TAA, and GSA E-Buy vendor qualifications. Assist Government POC with purchasing and coordinate Base Contracting (CONS) requirements.

  • Build and maintain relationships across key squadron and external shops: Base Communications (96 CS Plans and Programs), Financial Management (FM), Contracting (CONS), Wing A6, Civil Engineering (Facilities), and ACC/MAJCOM A6. Act as the primary point of contact for vendor relations, managing relationships classified by operationally tailored equipment (e.g., specialized cables, network switches, HPC).

  • Manage Information Technology Asset Management (ITAM) program, maintaining accountability for equipment lifecycles, hardware/software inventory, and disposition.

Required Qualifications:

  • U.S. Citizenship

  • Bachelors' degree in IT Management or relevant discipline. 6 years' applicable work experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

  • Possess functional knowledge of standard CCS-3 Waiver requirements and processes. Crucially, the candidate must be able to identify when standard CCS-3 processes are not operationally viable and effectively circumvent them by utilizing alternative, compliant acquisition pathways (e.g., DLA batch acquisitions).

  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills and maintain a proactive work ethic and highly approachable demeanor suited for rapid, multi-agency collaboration.

  • Current active Secret clearance is required at hire, must be able to maintain required clearance level throughout employment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Acquisition of a Project Management Professional (PMP) credential within a specified timeframe is highly desirable.

  • Top Secret clearance at hire is preferred.
