As the Technical Lead - Salesforce Commerce at a manager level, you will have the opportunity to build and support innovative, integrated, scalable, and balanced system solutions aligned with our Business and IT strategies. Using design & critical thinking, deep business knowledge, situational awareness and multi-disciplinary experience, this position will deliver insight, trusted advice and the technical support and leadership needed to make efficient use of technology and information assets. You will work with the team to provide high quality code solutions to meet business needs in the implementation, enhancement, and support of the ecommerce platform and related marketing technology integrations. You should have knowledge of Commerce development as well as using the platform to perform configuration, data and integration changes.

Typically works on multiple projects that require increased skill in multiple technical environments, while leading related production support teams.

Performance requirements
  • Design, architect and support applications within the domain including eCommerce, Payment Solutions, third-party integrations (including Marketing Technology integrations) for digital channel as well as related processes, enhancements, system upgrades, and projects.
  • Ownership of complete software lifecycle delivery including software and system architecture, technical design and development, documentation, testing and data migration solutions and deployments of business applications in your domain.
  • You will be responsible for understanding requirements, reading tasks, following estimates, and assist in developing the code / configuration for projects you are assigned to.
  • You will provide guidance and oversight to development teams to ensure that both the process is followed and the solution that is delivered is consistent with architecture development policies and standards.
  • Works closely with customers, business analysts, and team members to understand business requirements that drive the analysis and design of quality technical solutions. These solutions must be aligned with business and IT strategies and comply with the organization's architectural standards.
  • Acts as a strategic thought partner, propose alternatives/solutions in alignment with requirements/objectives/timelines and address issues facing the business.
  • Acts as liaison between the business and IT technical and development teams to assist in documenting and converting business requirements into technology requirements.
  • Provides functional/technical application support for troubleshooting and resolving issues where required.
  • Provide technical leadership, guidance, and directions to team members.
  • Manage internal or 3rd party vendor technical resources in support of project or operational goals for your domain.
  • Independently drive design decisions to insure the necessary health of the overall solution. Monitor applications in your domain and proactively identify performance or operational improvements.
Work Experience and education requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or closely-related discipline, required
  • 5-7+ years of experience on designing and implementing technology solutions
  • 3+ years of experience on Salesforce commerce platform
  • Experience of integrating payment systems and marketing technology with eComm
  • Experience in hands-on technical leadership position
  • Experience on system cutover and deployments
  • Experience on various types of integration tools and integration methods
  • Experience on implementing and integrating cloud and on-prem applications
  • Experience leading production support teams
  • Detail oriented and ability to communicate to different levels in organization
  • Ability to provide technical guidance in your domain including architecture decision, technical design and service introduction
  • Experience in leading production support teams including 3rd party vendors

Pay Range:

Annual Salary: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00

This position is eligible for an annual incentive compensation based on company performance.
