role in supporting the Transportation Departmentby managing and improving the technologysystems that keep our operations moving.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

Move Technology Forward: Supporttechnology projects from research andplanning through implementation and
deployment.
Keep Systems Running: Maintain, repair,and upgrade computers, software,hardware, and operating systems for localand remote users.
Provide Tech Support & Training:Troubleshoot hardware, software, network,VPN, and VoIP issues, and deliver clear,effective technology training.
Manage Technology Assets: Purchase,inventory, and track equipment whiledocumenting support and repair history.
Support Daily Operations: Perform routine system checks and updates and serve as a key liaison between staff and management on technology needs.


SKILLS TO WOW US:
You're tech-savvy: You understand computerhardware, software, and networkingfundamentals.
You know your networks: You're comfortablewith TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and Active Directory.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Minimum: Associate degree in ComputerScience with two (2) years of related ITexperience. An equivalent combination ofeducation and experience may be considered.
Preferred: A+ Certification and other relevantindustry certifications.
