Job Summary:

The IT Generalist will support the IT department with day-to-day technical operations and user support. This role provides hands-on experience in troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with system maintenance, and supporting internal technology initiatives. The IT Generalist will gain exposure to network systems, cybersecurity practices, and enterprise applications while contributing to the efficient operation of the organization’s technology environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Assist with gathering and organizing technical and project-related documentation.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of internal process documentation and system records.
  • Provide administrative and coordination support for ongoing IT projects.
  • Assist the team during system migration initiatives, including data review and validation.
  • Aid in defining data analytics requirements and documenting reporting structures.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure accuracy and consistency in data and project materials.
  • Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and user issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and peripheral devices.
  • Assist with user account setup and password resets.
  • Support Microsoft 365 applications and basic network connectivity issues.
  • Document support requests and resolutions.
  • Assist with workstation deployment and equipment inventory.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications:

  • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Analytics, Business Technology, or a related field.
  • Equivalent combination of education, technical training, certifications, and relevant experience may be considered.
  • 0–2 years of experience in an IT support or technology-related role preferred.
  • Basic understanding of IT systems, databases, and business applications.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
  • Ability to manage multiple assignments in a structured environment.
  • Analytical mindset with interest in data and process improvement.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft and Google applications. Examples: (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Google Docs, Google Sheets, Google Slides, Google Drive).
