Job description

Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group (JAM) is looking for a versatile and proactive IT Generalist to support and maintain our technology infrastructure. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats—handling everything from help desk support to systems administration and basic networking. You’ll play a key role in keeping our systems running smoothly and helping employees stay productive.

When submitting your resume, ensure it includes a list of applications or software that you have assisted on with each labeled with an “expert,” “proficient,” or “barely” rating.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access (Teams, SharePoint, Office 365).
  • Maintain documentation for systems, procedures, and troubleshooting steps.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in an IT support or generalist role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or macOS environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work independently.
  • Help desk or ticketing system experience.

Compensation & Schedule

  • Annual Salary: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience.
  • Hybrid schedule: 4 days in the office and 1 day from home.
