Role Overview / Purpose and Scope

The IT Systems Support Specialistis responsible forsupporting the major software systems used across Farmer Focus and serving as the first line of support for operational issues and training needs. This role is expected to become a subject matter expert for assigned software systems and to configure, troubleshoot, document, report on, and train users on those systems.

This position supports system data accuracy, internal controls, business requirements, software release updates, and cross-functional technology needs across departments including Live Operations, Maintenance,Purchasing/Receiving, Warehouse Operations, Finance, Customer Service, and Sales.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first line of support for assigned software systems, operational issues, and user training needs.

  • Become a subject matter expert for assigned software systems and related business processes.

  • Configure, troubleshoot, document, and support assigned software systems.

  • Document, log, work, and track all support requests in a ticketing system to ensuretimelyresolution.

  • Escalate complex or unresolved issues to the nextappropriate supportlevel.

  • Configure, manage, and analyze system data to support accuracy, compliance, and business needs.

  • Perform testing of new system releases, software functions, and system processes to ensure functionality works as needed.

  • Document system testing results and work with development teams and/or vendors to resolve issues before software is released for user acceptance testing.

  • Assistwith biannual system release update testing and documentation.

  • Document andmaintainkey processes in workflow formats.

  • Review and update process documentation as the business grows and changes.

  • Train users and user groups when new software or software functions are deployed.

  • Develop and manage system views, schedules, alerts, reports, and related reporting tools.

  • Ensure documentation adheres to regulatory requirements and supports internal and external audits.

  • Assistwith internal and external audits as needed.

  • Create business requirements needed for the development of new software functions.

  • Translate business requirements into technical requirements for development teams, vendors, or system partners.

  • Partner with internal departments toidentifysystem needs, projects, improvements, and support requirements.

  • Work with Live Operations, Maintenance,Purchasing/Receiving, Warehouse Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Sales, and other departments as needed.

  • Follow, support, and enforce internal control processes and procedures.

  • Participate on the audit team or safety committee as needed.

  • Participate in company training programs and make every effort to learn, develop, and upgrade skillsrequiredfor the role.

  • Perform all other related duties as assigned by Management.

Compensation

Compensation Range:$60,000 - $80,000

The posted compensation range for this role should reflect the minimum and maximum amount Farmer Focus in good faith expects to pay at the time of posting, based on factors such as internal equity, relevant experience, market data, and the budgeted amount available for the position.

Qualifications

  • Experience training users or departments on new software functions and business processes.

Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Travel

Work is conducted primarily in an office environment but will require access to the production environment as needed to view processes, support systems, gather requirements, train users, troubleshoot issues, and understand operational workflows. The team member must be able to tolerate varying heat, wet, and chill conditions within the plant.Hearing and eye-protective equipment are required in the production area.Hair and beard nets arerequiredin the production area.Additionalpersonal protective equipment may berequiredbased on task, location, and safety requirements. This role requires regular use of computers, software systems, Microsoft Office, Excel, Smartsheet, Business Intelligence tools, ticketing systems, phones, email, and other office equipment. The position requires fine hand and finger dexterity, 20/20 corrected vision, color vision, and the ability to climb stairs to view processes.
