Job Title: Summer IT Support Technician (Seasonal)

Position Type: Temporary / Full-Time (40 hours per week)
Duration: Summer Internship/Seasonal Assignment
Location: Vincennes, IN - onsite

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Summer IT Support Technician to join our team for a full-time seasonal assignment. In this role, you will support the IT department with the setup, configuration, and distribution of computer equipment to company locations across the United States. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in IT operations, asset management, and end-user support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Configure, image, and set up desktop and laptop computers according to company standards
  • Prepare IT equipment for deployment, including installing software, updates, and security settings
  • Coordinate and manage shipment of computers and IT equipment to various U.S. locations
  • Track inventory, asset tagging, and maintain accurate equipment records
  • Troubleshoot basic hardware and software issues prior to dispatch
  • Ensure all devices are properly tested and ready for end-user use
  • Assist with equipment returns, reimaging, and redeployment as needed
  • Maintain organization and cleanliness of IT storage and staging areas
  • Follow company policies and procedures related to IT security and equipment handling
