IT Director

Location: Gary, IN (with weekly visits to Hinsdale, IL)

Industry: Metal Processing and Fabrications

Job Type: Full-time

The ideal candidate will be based in Gary, IN, and must be willing to travel to Hinsdale, IL once a week.

Responsibilities:

ERP Systems Implementation:

Lead the implementation of ERP systems to streamline and enhance business processes.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful integration and user adoption.

Talent Management:

Develop and execute a strategic plan to hire junior-level IT professionals dedicated to resolving hardware and software issues at the plant level.

Provide mentorship and training to junior staff to ensure a high level of technical proficiency.

Industry Experience:

Leverage Metal Processing and Fabrications industry knowledge or any manufacturing background to understand the unique IT requirements and challenges within the sector.

Hardware and Software Management:
