Job description

BluePearl Pet Hospital in Queens is seeking a full-time Emergency Veterinarian to join our state-of-the-art emergency and specialty hospital. Our hospital is located in the Forest Hills area of Queens, and we serve pets in the neighborhoods of Astoria, Bayside, Bellerose, Corona, Elmhurst, Flushing, Fresh Meadows, Glen Oaks, Howard Beach, Jackson Heights, Jamaica, Kew Gardens, Long Island City, Middle Village, Oakland Gardens, Richmond Hill, Ridgewood, St. Albans, Sunnyside, Whitestone, Woodhaven and Woodside.

What you need to excel at BluePearl :

  • DVM/VMD degree required.

  • Completion of a rotating internship or residency in emergency and critical care preferred but not required.

  • Current license to practice veterinary medicine in this state.

  • Strong diagnostic and clinical skills, with the ability to make rapid and accurate assessments in emergency situations.

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a compassionate bedside manner.

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
