Job description

Aimé Leon Dore is seeking an Assistant Designer, Wovens, to join our New York team, reporting to the Senior Design Director of Men's Apparel and supporting the design and development of seasonal collections from concept through execution.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Support the design and development of woven categories from concept through final execution
  • Assist in the creation and maintenance of tech packs and linesheets, ensuring accuracy and timely completion
  • Partner with Product Development and Technical Design to ensure clear communication and complete design handoffs
  • Support seasonal concepts through extensive product research and create design presentations
  • Maintain and organize fabric, wash standards, and trim libraries
  • Participate in design meetings and attend fittings, ensuring updates are clearly communicated and executed
  • Provide ongoing support to the Senior Director and broader Design team as needed

Qualifications
  • Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Figma, and Microsoft Office
  • Experience in apparel design with focus on menswear design
  • Ability to thrive in a high-volume, rapidly changing environment, with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
  • Must be organized and illustrate a keen attention to detail
