About Anderson Center Consulting & Training (ACCT)
Anderson Center for Autism's Consulting & Training division partners with school districts, community agencies, businesses, and families to provide evidence-based guidance, professional development, and individualized support grounded in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). Our mission is to help optimize quality of life for autistic and neurodivergent individuals across all settings.
We are seeking a Behavior Analyst/Consultant who is passionate about improving outcomes through collaborative consultation, training, and evidence-based practice.
POSITION SUMMARY:
The Behavior Analyst/Consultant provides in-person and teleconsultative services to schools, agencies, organizations, and families. This includes conducting assessments, developing reports and intervention plans, analyzing data, delivering trainings, and supporting implementation. The role also contributes to the development of new products, services, and professional growth opportunities within ACCT.
The ideal candidate demonstrates integrity, strong communication skills, deep knowledge of autism and neurodiversity, and a commitment to high-quality behavior analytic practice.
Pay Range: $65,780.00 - $70,980.00 Salary; Based on experience
The salary reflects a school-year position working approximately 46 weeks annually (July and August off), inclusive of five vacation days. The summer break is a built-in non-working period rather than paid leave.
Please note: that this role does not follow the broader school holiday/recess schedule.
RESPONSIBILTIES:
  • Deliver high-quality consultation and training grounded in ABA principles and current research, demonstrating strong knowledge of autism, developmental disabilities, neurodiversity, and evidence-based strategies; stay current with research and share relevant updates with colleagues.
  • Provide consultation across school, home, workplace, and community settings using the ACCT model, including scheduling and completing observations/assessments, preparing reports, supporting follow-ups, developing intervention plans, analyzing data, and using technology for virtual services.
  • Collaborate with departmental content experts on complex cases and contribute insights on community trends and needs to support service development, outreach efforts, and improvement of consultative services.
  • Participate in outreach activities including meetings with schools/agencies and representing ACCT at conferences, trade shows, and speaking engagements.
  • Maintain an average of 25 billable hours per week; follow agency policies, procedures, and professional standards; meet all documentation and reporting deadlines; and adjust work hours as needed to meet contract requirements.
  • Complete all required agency trainings and provide internal training or consultation when requested.
  • For BCBAs: provide supervision to Behavior Specialists pursuing BCBA certification and maintain all required certifications and licensure.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • Master's degree in Psychology or related field.
  • Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification.
  • NYSED Fingerprint Clearance (required).
  • Experience with autism spectrum disorders or developmental disabilities (preferred).
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to conduct both in-person and telehealth consultation.
