Job Summary:

Join our team as a Systems Analyst supporting a statewide Learning Management System (LMS). In this role, you'll help ensure efficient system operations, accurate reporting, and compliance with training requirements across the organization.

Job Duties:

LMS Administration & System Improvement

  • Manage and enhance the agency's LMS to support training and compliance needs
  • Maintain system standards, including course structure, naming conventions, and user access
  • Develop and update procedures, documentation, and internal controls
  • Analyze system changes and recommend effective solutions

Compliance & Reporting

  • Produce and validate reports to support leadership, program areas, and external partners
  • Monitor system performance to ensure compliance with policies and requirements
  • Identify and resolve data integrity issues to maintain reliable records

Technical Support & Leadership

  • Serve as the primary LMS point of contact for internal teams and external partners
  • Troubleshoot complex system issues and support users statewide
  • Lead or assist with system upgrades, enhancements, and process improvements
  • Provide guidance and training on LMS functionality and compliance processes

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work with stakeholders to translate business needs into system solutions
  • Track and resolve system issues in a timely manner
  • Ensure accurate maintenance of training records for staff and providers 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSAs):

Knowledge of:
- Training-related technologies including learning management systems.
- Database development and maintenance.
- Planning and organizing.
- Computer word processing, databases and spreadsheets.
- Writing (related to grammar, punctuation, spelling, proper syntax, proper sentence structure, etc.).
-Learning Management Systems.
-Organization and tracking systems.
-Customer service principles.
Skill in:
- Conceptualizing, designing, planning, developing, and auditing employee training systems and programs.
- Written and oral communication
- Presentation methods.
- Interpersonal skills in working with diverse groups and customer service.

- Training-related technologies including learning management systems.
- Project management, interpreting and analyzing data, time management, and scheduling resources.
- Planning, organizing and prioritizing work.

- Plan, organize and coordinate the design, delivery and audit of training and training resources.

- Interpret and analyze.

Pre-Employment Requirements:

One year of management analysis experience; OR three years of experience in learning management systems and/or database applications; A Bachelor's or Master's degree in learning management systems and/or database applications will substitute for one or two years of the required experience respectively, but will not substitute for the management analysis experience.

The ability to secure and maintain clearance from the DCS Central Registry.

This position requires driving or the use of a vehicle as an essential function of the job to conduct State business, and the following requirements apply: Driver's License Requirements.

Positions in this classification participate in the Arizona State Retirement System (ASRS).
