About The Team

Business Enablementis responsible forleadingmodernization initiatives across the CFO group. The teamis responsible forthe testing and implementation ofsystem updates and enhancements to various finance, accounting,taxand procurement systems.Continuouslyidentifiesandevaluatesprocess and systemimprovements;ensuring changes in business requirements, laws and regulations are addressed. Tests and implements new functionality, developing training and procedures documents, and training staff on system and process changes. Position acts as a business expert on systems and processes in financialprocessesproviding guidance and feedback on use of system and processes to associates.

Role Summary

The T. Rowe Price internship program includesa formalorientation, peer and senior mentor assignments, and formal learning opportunities. In addition to the work assignments within the assigned department, interns also gain exposure to associates and senior leaders across the firm through an executive speaker series, networking and social events, and engagement with our Business Resource Groups.

TheBusiness Enablementinternshipworks to implement minor system enhancements inOraclemodules in support of the Accounting and Reporting teams to improve system efficiency or reduce errors.This internship will provide students with an opportunity toparticipatein the design, testing, implementation, and evaluation of system enhancements or new systems.

Responsibilities

  • Supports the implementation of new or updated financial systems, including the building, testing, and training phases. Implement minor system improvements in assignedareato improve system efficiency or reduce errors.
  • Provides support to end users on system functionality. Makes recommendations for process improvements based on system usage.
  • Conducts ongoing system maintenance and reporting. Supports monthly and quarterly reporting for finance teams.
  • Identifiesprocess improvements for assigned automated financial information systems. Provides escalated support to end users.
  • Coordinates between Finance and Technology to ensure systems are integrated and aligned with Technology protocols.
  • Leverage data analyticstoprovidemeaningful insights.
  • Utilizedata visualizationplatformto create interactive dashboards.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Full time student pursuing a bachelor's degree with an expected graduation date of December 2026- May/June 2028.
  • Understanding of Accounting principles & processes
  • Proficiencyworking with ERP systems such as Oracle, SAP, etc.
  • Understanding of data visualization tools and financial systems

Preferred:

  • Finance, Accounting,or Business Administration majors preferred
  • Cumulative grade point average of at least 3.2 on a 4.0 scale

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for hybrid work, with up to one day per week from home.
