Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour

Position: Journeyman Electrician – Industrial

Rapier Industries is looking for Industrial Journeyman Electricians. We are seeking a licensed industrial journeyman electrician with 4 or more years of experience to troubleshoot, repair, and enhance equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of motor installation, motor control wiring, capacitor banks, and overcurrent protection devices, along with general lighting and power systems.

Responsibilities:

· Running RIGID / Threading pipe

· Diagnose and repair automated equipment and control systems.

· Test a range of electrical equipment (including AC/DC drives, motors, and controls) using standard testing tools while monitoring system performance.

· Design and layout electrical circuits; install fixtures, wiring, conduits, motors, and other electrical components.

· Install rigid conduit, pull wire, and terminate motors and motor controls.


Job Types: Full-time

Expected hours: 40 – 60 per week

Schedule: 7am - 3:30pm

· 10 hour shift

· 8 hour shift

· Day shift

· Every weekend

· Overtime

· Proficient in installing conduit, wiring, and electrical components.

· Experience in building and installing electrical cabinets and associated components.

· Ability to read and interpret electrical prints and schematics.

· Skilled in using various electrical testing equipment for troubleshooting.
