Job Summary

The Technical Specialist - ADP Workforce Now (WFN) serves as the primary escalation point for complex WFN technical issues across consulting projects and ongoing outsourced payroll clients. This role provides advanced system configuration expertise, partners closely with ADP, and supports internal teams and clients in resolving payroll and system-related challenges.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the technical subject matter expert (SME) for ADP Workforce Now across consulting projects and recurring outsourced payroll clients.
  • Act as the primary escalation point for complex WFN technical and payroll issues.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve advanced system configuration and payroll challenges, coordinating with ADP as needed.
  • Advise internal teams and clients on system capabilities, configurations, and module interdependencies.
  • Support payroll-related projects and contribute to documentation, best practices, and continuous process improvements.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 3 years of payroll and technical experience with ADP Workforce Now.
  • Advanced expertise with the WFN Payroll module, including ADP AutoPay/CCI and complex payroll configurations (e.g., special calculations, special compensation, cafeteria plans, FLSA overtime).
  • Strong understanding of WFN module interdependencies, including Onboarding, Recruiting, Benefits, Compensation, Performance, and Reporting.
  • Experience supporting vendor integrations, including insurance and retirement carriers, and API connections.
  • Proven ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex payroll and system configuration issues.

Preferred Qualifications

  • ADP Workforce Now certification.
  • Payroll certification (CPP or FPC).
  • Prior consulting experience.
