Role: Engineering Manager / Development Manager
Duration: 3-month contract (with potential extension or full-time conversion)
Location: Remote
Rate: $ 60 - 75/hr
Key Responsibilities
  • Provide interim leadership to the development team, ensuring stability and continuity of ongoing initiatives
  • Act as a hands-on contributor with the ability to read, write, and review code
  • Lead Agile/Scrum ceremonies and maintain team velocity
  • Validate and refine user stories, epics, and backlog items to ensure clarity and business alignment
  • Collaborate with InfoSec teams to define and develop security-related requirements and user stories
  • Manage and prioritize development workflows to meet delivery timelines
  • Partner with business and technical stakeholders to ensure alignment across initiatives

Required Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an Engineering Manager or Development Manager in a hands-on capacity
  • Strong coding background with the ability to contribute technically when needed
  • Solid understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies with experience leading Agile teams
  • Experience managing backlogs, user stories, and epics
  • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally, particularly with InfoSec/security teams
  • Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
