THE WORK
Level 4 Software Engineering Associate Manager
Display Products Management team is responsible for providing leadership and functional management to a cross-product team of engineering and technology professionals supporting our Multi Domain Combat Solutions (MDCS) market segment.
Display Products develops user interface software products which span across MDCS , including developing, integrating and delivering the Aegis Display System, Integrated Combat System Display, and SSDS Display.
WHO YOU ARE
As a Manager, you will lead a multi-discipline team of approximately 12-20 engineers executing the design and development of products within the MDCS Display product line.
You will be responsible for ensuring that appropriate engineering processes, technical personnel, and design tools are applied and managed. Staffing responsibilities include the projection and planning of appropriate staffing levels, recruiting and selection of interns, contractors, college hires and experienced professionals. Functional group responsibilities include performance assessments, career development & guidance, merit and salary actions, training plans, staffing, and recruiting. This role oversees a diverse and highly skilled set of engineers.
You will be responsible for providing direction to the team, ensuring innovative solutions are delivered on schedule and within budget. In this role you will partner with the department and Combat Systems Integrated Engineering Organization to advance our products, processes, and technologies as we look to evolve our engineering practices to best execute current work and win future opportunities.
