Who are we looking for?

The successful candidate for the Engineer I position will work directly with other internal teams including engineers and chemists, to complete projects in support of process and product development. The Engineer will facilitate the development and launch of brand-new chemistries to support the business’s high growth markets in the semiconductors business, specifically working on scaling up our products.

What will you be doing?
  • Makes and packages lab/pilot scale batches following instructions and safe lab practices
  • Operates related equipment involving in making products from lab to production scale.
  • Reviews orders including raw materials availability and plan accordingly to meet product ship date
  • Carries out experiments provided by project leader or manager.
  • Collects and consolidates data during experiments and effectively communicates results with key stakeholders and colleagues.
  • Conducts raw material and equipment evaluations and make recommendations to promote product quality and process safety and efficiency.
  • Supports the scaling of the production process from pilot to high volume manufacturing with activities including the development of robust manufacturing instructions, validation of full-scale batches, and training for manufacturing operators.
  • Conducts and manages shelf-life study and provides update to team.
  • Enters process and product waivers as required.
  • Manages equipment calibration record.
  • Operates equipment and follows procedures in accordance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and OHSAS 18001 standards. 
Who are You?
  • A bachelor’s degree required in a STEM field, Chemistry or Chemical Engineering preferred.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience, 3 years preferred, of relevant manufacturing experience
  • Pilot production or scale up experience is preferred
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment.

The typical base salary range for this position is anticipated to be between $75,000 and $85,000 annually.
