Job description

A busy Litigation law firm in Northwest Indiana looking for an experienced Legal Secretary/Assistant to fill immediate full time or part time opening. INDIANA law office experience is welcomed but hard work ethic in a busy office is a must!!. This position would assist paralegal and attorneys with multiple pre-litigation tasks and perform other general office duties. Position includes interaction with clients via phone and in person, data entry into contact management system, prepare discovery and work on medical records/bills summaries. Hours are from 8:00 – 4:00 Monday through Friday if full time Candidate must be outgoing and professional.

Qualifications include;

-Excellent organizational skills needed

-Excellent attention to detail and follow up skills needed

-Self-motivated as much this is work performed independently

-Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word and Outlook

-Prior INDIANA law firm experience a plus but not necessary
