Director, Insurance Implementation and Onboarding

About the Role

SS&C is seeking a Director of Insurance Implementation and Onboarding to lead client implementations of our Singularity platform, supporting investment operations and accounting for insurance firms. This role will drive complex, high-impact projects, ensuring seamless onboarding, strong governance, and exceptional client experience.

You will serve as a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders, leading implementation efforts, managing project teams, and contributing to the continued evolution and success of SS&C Singularity.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Lead end-to-end client implementations of the Singularity platform for insurance investment operations and accounting
  • Drive structured project plans, governance, and execution to ensure successful onboarding and high client satisfaction
  • Manage multiple implementation projects simultaneously, including oversight of project teams and resources
  • Serve as the primary point of contact between clients and SS&C teams (product, development, operations)
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, including leading project reviews and executive updates
  • Conduct business analysis, workflow reviews, and operational assessments to support implementation success
  • Provide subject matter expertise and consult clients on best practices within investment accounting and operations
  • Support pre-sales initiatives and contribute to ongoing product and implementation methodology improvements

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field
  • Significant experience in program or project management within financial services implementations
  • Strong background in investment accounting, with insurance industry experience highly preferred
  • Experience with public and private investments, including fixed income, equities, derivatives, FX, and commercial loans
  • Proven ability to manage complex projects and high-pressure client environments
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and risk management skills
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage senior stakeholders
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with strong attention to detail and time management
