Job Title: Insurance Follow-Up Representative
Location: West Chester, IL (Fully Onsite Required)
Compensation: $22 - $27 per hour depending on experience

About the Opportunity:
Addison Group is hiring an Insurance Follow-Up Representative on behalf of our client, a healthcare organization expanding its revenue cycle team. This role focuses on insurance accounts receivable follow-up. The position is ideal for someone who is experienced, self-driven, and comfortable managing high-volume follow-up in a structured onsite environment.
Key Responsibilities
  • Communicate with insurance carriers to obtain payment on open and outstanding claims
  • Review accounts receivable and claim documentation to identify delays, denials, or discrepancies
  • Monitor claim status through payer portals and internal systems, correcting and resubmitting claims when needed
  • Initiate and manage appeals for denied, rejected, or partially paid claims within payer deadlines
  • Address complex denial scenarios such as medical necessity, bundled services, fee schedule discrepancies, or documentation gaps
  • Meet daily productivity expectations, including a minimum volume of claims worked per day

Qualifications
  • Minimum 3 years of Professional (PB) A/R follow-up experience required
  • Experience working with both government and commercial insurance plans
  • Hands-on follow-up with Medicaid and IN payor experience required
  • Experience managing high-dollar or high-volume A/R inventories
  • Experience with EPIC required
  • Consistent work history with reliable attendance and punctuality
  • Comfortable working in a performance-oriented environment with productivity tracking
