Job description

Job Description:

NICRIS Capital Co. is seeking a Licensed Customer Service Representative(CSR) to work in their Plainview office supporting an Insurance Agency affiliate. The CSR is an integral part of the daily agency operation and will be working with the Supervising Agent and Producers. In addition to core administrative functions the CSR will be expected to coordinate daily office functions, greet visiting clients and assist with prospect inquiries.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the insurance sales process thorough cross selling, endorsement processing and telemarketing.
  • Address client needs and concerns via phone, email, mail, and social media.
  • Approach potential clients through traditional outreach efforts such as by organizing mailings or phone solicitation introducing the Agency and the sales team.
  • Assist policyholders to initiate or settle claims.
  • Contact customers to obtain and verify appointments.
  • Greet customers warmly and ascertain problem or reason for calling.
  • Keep records of customer interactions and transactions, recording details of inquiries, complaints, and comments, as well as actions taken.

Qualifications:

· Multi lingual, ability to converse in Spanish ++

· NYS Licensed P&C or Personal Lines

· Advanced computer skills for applications that focus around social media and business productivity tools(i.e. MS Excel, Word, Power Point)

· Organized and detail oriented

· Prior experience with Salesforce or other CRM systems

· College Degree or in process of obtaining preferred
