Can you make $500,000 a year in sales?

Inside sales professionals can potentially earn $500,000 annually, especially those in high-value industries like technology or medical equipment, where commissions and bonuses can significantly boost income. Most inside sales roles have lower base salaries with commissions making up a substantial portion of total earnings.

What is inside sales?

Inside sales refers to the process of selling products or services remotely, typically over the phone, email, or online channels, rather than meeting with clients face-to-face. Inside sales professionals build relationships with potential customers, qualify leads, and close sales from an office environment. Inside sales roles often require strong communication skills, persistence, and proficiency with digital tools such as CRM software.
