Position: INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE


Department: Sales & Marketing

Location: In OFFICE - Muncie, Indiana

Employment Type: Full-Time

Work Hours: Monday - Thursday (8:00 am - 5:00 pm) Friday (8:00 am - 12:00 pm)

Reports to: SALES & MARKETING MANAGER

Compensation: $20 TO $25 Per Hour (Based on experience) + Bonuses - (Averages: $60,000 to $80,000 Annually)

  • If employee excels and meets position requirements during their first 6 months, they could be eligible for a Merit Based pay increase performance review.

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking Inside Sales Reps to join our growing team! You will resolve customer questions and offer solutions to drive company revenue and work alongside our Outside Sales Estimators.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND BASIC TASKS

  • Learn & communicate the features & benefits of company products, reinforcing our value proposition.
  • Review details of the proposal and be prepared to explain it to customers.
  • Learn company spreadsheets and terminology (training is provided).
  • Resolve customer inquiries, concerns and identify customer's timeline for installation.
  • Responsible for understanding what's important to customers and closing sales using digital contracts.
  • Initiate follow-ups with customers to advance the sales cycle.
  • Provide exceptional customer service throughout the sales process.
  • Forward sales materials to customers, as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • College degree preferred, but not required.
  • Basic computer knowledge including use of Outlook, Excel, and Word.
  • Requires some telephone and typing skills.
  • Ability to work with simple data entry software, training provided.
  • Previous experience in sales, phone direct sales or other related fields is necessary.
  • Ability to build strong rapport with existing and new customers.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Self-motivated with a strong initiative and drive for results.
  • Having some Microsoft Access experience preferred, but not required.
  • Must be able to pass Pre-Employment Drug Screen & provide 2 forms of I-9 Citizenship approved identification.

SKILLS/ABILITIES:

Honest, dependable, self-motivated, persuasive, deadline, and detail-oriented and good communication skills. Confident and able to handle rejection, stress and keep a positive mind set. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment with good customer phone skills.

Must be reliable and ready for work daily.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

A fast-paced and fun office environment position that requires the ability to work in close contact with other Inside Sales Reps, Outside Sales Reps and Sales & Marketing Manager. Initial ONE week training program, then continued training and updates thereafter.
