Inside Sales Representative
Job Overview:
An Inside Sales Representative works with customers to provide and ensure that products fulfill their specified applications and criteria with best-in-class service and support. This role, on the Inside and Online Sales Team, provides sales support and assistance to our Field Sales network, Integrated Systems customers and our online/eCommerce sales efforts by responding to customer inquiries and performing a variety of duties related to these inquires in a timely manner.
Job Functions:
  • Develops and maintains product knowledge through formal training, sales meetings and personal efforts
  • Responds quickly to inbound customer inquiries; phone calls, emails, completed website forms
  • Provides professional, accurate and detailed quotes with product information, pricing, shipping specifications, and payment terms in a timely manner
  • Process orders and provide follow up throughout the completion of the purchasing cycle
  • Demonstrates effective use business tools, Microsoft Office, Microsoft D365, Microsoft CRM
  • Accurately maintain customer database information in Microsoft CRM
  • Contribute to the maintenance of supplier information and product content
  • Communicate strategic information regarding suppliers, customers and competition
  • Any and all other such duties or assignments as directed by management

Travel Requirements:
  • <5% overnight travel (Travel expenses paid by Toyota Automated Logistics)

Required Qualifications and Preferred Skills:
  • Associate Degree in a Technology or Business Discipline (Bachelor's degree preferred)
  • Material Handling knowledge preferred
  • 0-2 years' customer service skills experience preferred
  • Strong communications skills (listening, written and verbal)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Responsive, the ability to react quickly and positively
  • Team player who can also work independently.
  • Demonstrates drive to succeed, entrepreneurial mindset to identify process improvements as part of the team
  • Confident, positive, and enthusiastic approach about company, products, and processes
  • Develops knowledge about company products and processes within 6 months in role
  • Detail oriented to provide high quality work with moderate supervision
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft CRM/ERP within 6 months in role
  • Must be eligible to work in the USA long term without sponsorship.
  • Employees must follow all information security policies, protect confidential data, complete required training, and report any suspected security incidents to support our information security controls.
