Sales Representative – Northern Indiana

What You will Do as a Sales Representative

In this key role, you’ll help power our customers’ success while executing effective sales strategies and ensuring an outstanding customer experience from start to finish.

You will:

  • Supporting sales goals and contributing to overall branch performance
  • Building and maintaining relationships with existing customers and developing new ones
  • Participating in joint sales calls when needed
  • Preparing quotes and tracking opportunities in our CRM system
  • Processing orders and responding to customer requests
  • Monitoring back orders and helping ensure timely delivery
  • Identifying opportunities to educate customers on products and applications
  • Working with internal teams to make sure customer needs are met

What Makes You a Great Fit

  • High school diploma or GED required; some college coursework preferred
  • Previous sales experience preferred, especially in a B2B environment
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and grow within the electrical distribution industry

What to Expect in This Role

  • Ability to push, pull, lift, carry up to 50 lbs.
  • Monday–Friday (Typical Business Hours)
  • 50%+ of your time will be spent in the office/on the computer
  • Flexibility to participate in customer/vendor events
  • Some travel required 10-20%
