  • Responsible for collaborating interdepartmentally to drive reliability, engagement with crews, problem solving and supporting continuous improvements.
  • Supports crews in the actual operation while consistently helping to deliver an on-time departure for our passengers
  • Salary range is $63,000 - $86,500.

What you'll do

  • Drives operational excellency while maintaining safety standards
  • Supports departmental and station goals and metrics
  • Establishes and promotes effective relationships with team members that fosters compassion, authenticity, integrity, respect and dignity through visibility and engagement.
  • Effectively allocates resources and provides appropriate support to enable teams to deliver on operational goals in a safe manner
  • Ensure the ongoing safety and reliability of our operation by engaging crews in the operation and promoting safety standards and initiatives
  • Ensures a quality product is consistently delivered to our customers
  • Promote effective communication among departments to engage our team to work together to achieve common goals.
  • Familiarity with Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) and ensure team members adhere to corporate policy/procedure.
  • Ability to analyze and make decisions based on data and work in an increasingly digital environment while leading people.
  • Manage escalated service issues and be visible to your team members when problems arise.
  • Deliver key corporate and local information to frontline leaders in an efficient and effective manner. Set the expectations and ensure team members understand the why behind the focus/criticality.
  • Ability to learn and apply union contract rules/regs in daily interactions with crewmembers and APFA

All you'll need for success
Minimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent experience/training
  • 3+ years of relevant experience
  • Must be able to work shift work, including weekends and holidays.
  • Must be able to work on-site at assigned base/location.

Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience
  • Current Flight Service, Passenger Service or Passenger Sales experience
  • An understanding of working with a contract labor group is desirable

Skills, Licenses & Certifications
  • Ability to coach, develop, and lead a team of Flight Attendants
  • Available to work shifts that include early mornings, late nights, weekends and Holidays. Along with the
  • flexibility of shift changes for operational needs
  • Excellent interpersonal, planning and organizational skill
  • Must be able to Meet the qualifications to train as a flight attendant, to enable better leadership of your team
  • Neat, well-groomed and capable of making a positive impression
  • Be service oriented
  • Able to push/pull force of up to 60 pounds
  • Successfully perform physical requirements of the job, including emergency evacuation drills
  • Ability to effectively coordinate multiple projects at the same time
  • Must fulfill FAA criminal background checks to qualify for unescorted access privileges to airport security
  • identification display areas (SIDA), if applicable
  • Ability to secure appropriate airport authority and/or US Customs security badges
  • Must Pass U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) mandate drug test
