Senior Business Analyst—Inflight Records

As a Senior Business Analyst—inflight Records, you will be an essential member of the Inflight Records team, responsible for analyzing, managing, and improving the systems related to Flight Attendant (FA) operational data. Your role will focus on gathering and defining requirements for managing flight attendant records, operational metrics, compliance tracking, and performance data to improve workflows and enhance operational efficiency. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective delivery of features that streamline flight attendant operations and contribute to overall service quality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex operational data related to Flight Attendant (FA) performance, attendance, training records, and compliance.
  • Identify trends, challenges, and areas for improvement based on FA data and operational metrics.
  • Apply predictive analytics to forecast staffing and operational needs and advise on business impacts and changes.
Tool Proficiency:
  • Use tools like Power BI, Kibana, and UDH to gather, analyze, and visualize FA-related data, supporting data-driven decisions for improving operations and employee management.
Collaboration with Stakeholders:
  • Translate high-level business requirements related to FA data and operational needs into detailed user stories for development and QA teams.
  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure that FA record management systems are aligned with broader company goals and enhance employee efficiency and compliance.
Project Management and Methodology:
  • Apply Agile methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban) to manage and prioritize digital projects related to Flight Attendant record management, ensuring they align with business objectives.
  • Oversee multiple projects, ensuring timely delivery and measurable impact on operational effectiveness.
Presentation and Reporting:
  • Prepare and deliver reports to senior management, presenting findings related to FA data analysis and providing actionable recommendations to optimize flight attendant performance, compliance, and resource allocation.
  • Create clear, insightful visualizations to guide decision-making related to FA records management.
Collaboration with Developers:
  • Work closely with developers to ensure that FA records management systems (such as data collection tools, performance trackers, and compliance monitors) are aligned with both technical roadmaps and business strategies.
  • Act as a liaison between business stakeholders (such as HR, operations, and training departments) and technical teams, ensuring effective implementation and continuous improvement of FA data systems.
Experience:
  • Minimum of 6 years of experience in an airline business analysis role, with a focus on employee records or operational data management.
Skills & Knowledge:
  • Proven experience in delivering business insights and managing operational records systems (specifically related to Flight Attendants or similar roles).
  • Solid understanding of business analysis principles, methodologies, and standard processes.
  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban).
  • Expertise in using data analysis tools such as Power BI, Kibana, and UDH to manage and interpret operational data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills to translate complex data into actionable insights for both business and technical teams.
  • Familiarity with design tools like Figma and Zeplin.
Preferred:
  • Advanced Education: Master’s degree in business, Technology, or related fields.
  • Experience with FA Records: Deep understanding of Flight Attendant records management, including performance tracking, compliance monitoring, and workforce optimization.
  • Agile Certifications: Relevant certifications in Agile methodologies such as SAFe, Scrum, or Kanban.
