INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE POSITION SUMMARY:

The Inside Sales Representative will identify, qualify, and follow up on leads for projects within a specific territory. This role involves close collaboration with the outside sales team to promote ACO products to Architects, Engineers, Designers, General Contractors, Subcontractors, and ACO Distributors. Minimal travel is required.

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop and maintain effective relationships with new and existing customersProvide customer support through knowledge of ACO products and their applicationsRespond to inbound sales callsConfirm, configure, set, and use drawing scales to complete the Take-Off processMaintain effective internal and external communication with customers, ACO management, and company sales representativesPrepare and send submittal packages to ACO Distributors or Direct Buy customers after receiving Purchase OrdersPrepare and submit Technical Service Requests for correct Bill of Materials after Purchase Orders are receivedResearch various lead sources for ACO product opportunitiesIdentify Architectural/Engineering firms for specific projects and communicate details to the Specification Consultant or Area Sales Manager/National Sales ManagerAssist with technical and specification information for ACO products prior to Purchase Order submissionEnter data from lead sources into ACO Sales Management Software (CRM) and forward qualified leads to the Area Sales Manager/National Sales ManagerCollaborate with the Area Sales Manager/National Sales Manager to determine follow-up actions for projectsWork with the Technical Services team to obtain product layouts and Bill of MaterialsPrepare and send quotations to contractors and price confirmations to distributors as neededMaintain the ACO Sales Management System (CRM) with accurate data and relevant informationFollow up with project participants to ascertain contract awards and obtain relevant contact details for the Area Sales Manager/National Sales ManagerRequest and receive Purchase Orders from customers and organize order documents for further processingProvide proactive inside sales support to the Area Sales Manager/National Sales Manager.Comply with company policies and procedures

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

2 years of inside sales experience, preferably in construction, commercial, retail, or related industries1-year business or related certificate from college or technical school preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

 

INSIDE SALES REPRESENTATIVE ADDITIONAL ELIGIBILITY QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Access, Excel) and file management.Excellent punctuation, grammar, and spelling.Strong communication skills and attention to detail.Ability to read and interpret simple construction drawings.Ability to write professional correspondence and speak effectively before groups.Basic math skills, including the ability to compute percentages and perform calculations in various units of measure.Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
