OUTBOUND SALES CONSULTANT
At Signal, an Outbound Sales Consultant, or "Client Concierge", is an integral part of our Consumer Division, a team focused on helping client prospects find financial professionals to assist with their retirement planning needs. As a Client Concierge, you are responsible for working leads to help assess their needs and sell them on the value of meeting with a financial professional who can help them get product specific information and create a financial plan for retirement. This position is all about active listening, building rapport, effectively selling the value of the program offering and efficiently working a pipeline of leads.
WHAT YOU'LL GET TO DO
  • Take each lead through our established sales process from beginning to end, tailoring the offering to best fit the needs of the prospective client
  • Utilize Salesforce to cold call and email to new sales opportunities
  • Update Salesforce with relevant information in discovery and update status throughout the sales process, including thorough and complete note taking
  • Reach out to leads captured and nurtured by the Marketing Team to book meetings with independent financial professionals
  • Provide feedback to the Marketing Team regarding quality of marketing-sourced leads

MUST HAVES
  • Life and Health insurance licensed, required
  • Prior experience as a sales development rep with a track record of achieving sales quotas
  • Two or more years of industry experience working in the independent financial distribution space, preferred
  • Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education, preferred
  • Able to think strategically and tactically; able to maintain a positive attitude in the face of criticism, rejection, or failure

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
The US base salary for this full-time position is determined by role, level, and location. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including interviews and a review of education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities of the applicant, equity with other team members, and alignment with market data.
