The SLA Analysis Group's mission is to deliver objective analyses, plans and strategies to US Navy, US Marine Corps, USAF, other DoD, and Australian Defence Force clients to support technology development, acquisition, delivery and sustainment decisions. The group provides the core of SPA thought leadership on Undersea Strategy, Software Development and Cost Estimating, with additional benchmark capabilities in AI/ML & Decision Analytics, Modeling and Simulation, and Future Force Assessments. SPA has a need for Arms Control & Treaty Implementation Analysts to support inspections, exercises, and analysis across multiple treaty regimes. The role connects treaty requirements with operational realities, ensuring Air Force units are prepared for inspections, rehearsals, and policy reviews. Responsibilities * Develop and maintain inspection and exercise plans, scenarios, and checklists that integrate HAF, MAJCOM, unit, and interagency stakeholders. * Review treaty provisions and related documents to identify impacts on Air Force operations; support preparation of briefs, assessments, and reference materials. * Facilitate rehearsals, exercises, and lessons‑learned events, updating procedures and training based on findings. * Assist in preparing and supporting real‑world inspections and treaty‑related working groups. * Maintain data trackers, reference tools, and documentation supporting treaty compliance and implementation. Qualifications Required * Bachelor's degree in international relations, security studies, or related field * 8+ years of experience in operational missions or major exercises, inspections, or policy analysis * Ability to translate treaty requirements into practical operational procedures * Strong skills in scenario design, research, and coordination across multiple echelons * TS/SCI clearance and willingness to travel Desired * Experience in treaty compliance, escort or inspection support roles, or arms control analysis * Background with nuclear, CBRN, or arms‑control‑focused exercises * Experience turning exercise or inspection results into updates for policy, doctrine, or training * Prior work supporting senior leaders in headquarters or interagency environments Pay Range Information At SPA, we strive to deliver a robust total compensation package that will attract and retain top talent.
