W2 Contract- 1 year duration with possibility to convert permPay- $32.00-$33.00 per hourHours - 8.5 hour shift between 7:00 and 5:30 / 40 hours per week.Shift depends on need and location**This is an in-field position that requires travel throughout the Magic Valley to multiple sites.**

  • The chosen candidate will work inside healthcare/hospital environments. This may involve occasional patient contact.
  • Must be customer service-oriented.
  • Occasional overnight travel to locations outside the Wood River area may be required.
  • Must have reliable transportation that can be used, as needed, during all shifts. Mileage reimbursement provided.
  • Minimum of 3 years of applicable experience required.
Under direct supervision, the End User Computing Specialist 2 provides accurate, timely, and creative solutions to end-user computer, telecom, and networking problems of moderate to complex nature to ensure end-user productivity.

Responsibilities

  • Acts as a second level resolution resource, including recognizing, researching, isolating and resolving information systems issues, answering questions, providing advice, troubleshooting, and following-up to assist users in solving their technical computing issues.
  • Performs restorative and maintenance actions either remotely or at the end users location to resolve problems.
  • General maintenance and support of IT hardware and infrastructure.
  • Recommends systems modifications to reduce user issues.
  • Responds to situations where standard procedures have failed in isolating or fixing problem equipment or software installations, and configuration changes.
  • Collaborates with Tier 2 support personnel (Engineering, Application, System Administrators, Infrastructure, etc.) for appropriate services, repairs, troubleshooting, training and follow-up.
  • Maintains accurate information and data regarding end-user issues within the tracking system and according to policies and standards.
  • Handles basic issues and problems, and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses skillset or entry level knowledge of subject matter.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
