About This Job:
We are expanding our support coverage to serve a key client. As an IT Consultant, you will be the dedicated technical resource, ensuring seamless IT operations when the rest of the team signs off for the day.
This is a focused, high-ownership position where you provide IT support during a critical window. You will need to think independently, troubleshoot without a safety net, and deliver a white-glove experience our clients expect.
The right person for this role is self-sufficient, composed under pressure, and takes pride in being the reliable presence that keeps things running quietly in the background.
  • This is a hybrid role, requiring at least 3 days onsite with the client
  • Shift: 9:00AM-5:30PM, Monday-Friday
  • Expected Start Date: 8/31
  • Compensation Range: $65,000-71,000

Compensation offered will vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
Job Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a dedicated IT support technician managing a high volume of support tickets, consistently meeting SLA targets and maintaining quality resolutions
  • Support and facilitate client onboarding and offboarding, from account provisioning to equipment shipments
  • Handle intermediate-to-advanced troubleshooting of computer, application, and network issues across Mac OS and Windows
  • Provision, configure, and maintain user laptops, workstations, and accounts
  • Assist on IT project deployments including MDM rollouts, network configurations, and hardware rollouts
  • Manage physical assets including inventory, cable management, and general workspace upkeep
  • Develop and maintain documentation, standards, and best practices in line with compliance requirements such as SOC2 and HIPAA
  • Help configure automations and tooling especially around onboarding and offboarding workflows
  • Mentor and support junior team members as you grow into the role

Must Have Tech Skills:
  • Solid hands-on experience with Windows operating systems
  • Strong proficiency administering Microsoft/O365, Microsoft Intune (MDM), and Microsoft Entra ID / Azure Active Directory (IAM)
  • Familiarity with networking fundamentals and standard environments including Meraki and Unifi
  • Understanding of SOC2 compliance framework
  • Strong troubleshooting skills with a focus on clear, documented resolutions

Nice to Have Tech Skills:
  • Background supporting school campuses, faculty, and students
  • Proficiency troubleshooting MacOS
  • Proficiency with other SaaS tools like Google Workspace, M365, Slack, Zoom, etc
  • Proficiency with other MDM tools like Jamf, Kandji, etc
  • Proficiency with other IAM tools like Okta, JumpCloud, etc
