Overview:
Global Power Components is a privately held, growing manufacturer of UL heavy gauge steel fuel tanks, trailers, large generator enclosures and modular metal enclosures for housing fully equipped electrical distribution and control equipment. Global Power produces weld assemblies, fabricated metal buildings, and large complex assemblies of power equipment.
Position Summary:
The HR Coordinator provides administrative and operational support to the HR Director and HR team. This role serves as the central point of coordination for HR documentation, reporting, employee communications, compliance tracking, and process execution.
Key Responsibilities:
HR Documentation and Communications
  • Draft, format, and edit HR documents, presentations, and reports
  • Maintain HR templates, forms, and employee records
  • Prepare HR reports and leadership materials

Workforce Data and Analytics Support
  • Maintain workforce data including headcount, hires, terms, and conversions
  • Support development of HR metrics and KPIs
  • Assist with workforce planning and reporting

Recruitment and Onboarding Coordination
  • Coordinate job postings, scheduling, and candidate communications
  • Support onboarding and offboarding processes
  • Track temp worker eligibility and conversion timelines

Compliance and Administration
  • Maintain compliance with applicable laws and regulations
  • Support benefits and leave administration
  • Maintain employee relations documentation

Project and Process Support
  • Coordinate HR initiatives and projects
  • Support process improvements and reporting efforts
  • Partner with Finance and Operations as needed

Qualifications
Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or related field
  • 1-3 years of HR experience
  • Strong Excel, Word, and PowerPoint skills
  • Strong communication and organization skills

Preferred:
  • Manufacturing experience
  • HRIS experience
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification
